PRESENCE NIGHTS WORSHIP FACILITATOR GUIDE
IT’S ABOUT HIM.
Thank you for your willingness to help facilitate worship at Presence Nights! This guide outlines the vision, purpose, and shared commitments that shape our gatherings. Please take time to read it carefully and prayerfully, as Presence Nights are intentionally different from a traditional worship service you may be used to leading.
After reviewing, please email Paola to confirm your interest and that you’ve reviewed the Guide below. This way we’ll coordinate together.

A NOTE TO OUR WORSHIP FACILITATORS
1. A HEART OF WORSHIP
We are not simply looking for talented singers or musicians. We desire worshipers who love being in God's presence and helping others fix their eyes on Him.
This is not about performing songs or leading a traditional worship service. It is about worshiping the Lord together, making room for one another, and directing our hearts toward His throne.
We are worshipers first. Facilitators second.
Presence Nights brings believers from across local churches together to worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through singing, Scripture, prayer, stillness, and communion.
Our focus is not on the musicians, the songs, or creating a particular experience.
It Is About Him.
2. OUR PURPOSE
3. HOW WE FACILITATE WORSHIP
1. Worship Together: All musicians and vocalists are welcome to participate together. Listen to one another, play in unity, and make room for everyone to contribute.
2. One Song at a Time: All musicians are welcome to play together. If you're singing and playing an instrument, initiate one song, then gently bring it to a close or fade to allow space for Scripture, stillness, or another vocalist or musician to begin.
Instrumentalists may continue accompanying others as songs change. The goal is to flow together, take turns, and make room for everyone—not to stop all music after every song.
3. Make Room for Others: No one should dominate the gathering or feel responsible for carrying the music. Be attentive to others who may want to sing, play, or read Scripture.
4. Follow the Natural Flow: There is no set order of songs, assigned times, or predetermined sequence. Remain attentive and allow worship to unfold naturally together.
5. Give Scripture Priority: When someone approaches the Scripture stand, gently bring the music down so God's Word can be heard. Allow time to reflect before continuing in worship.
6. Songs That Magnify God: Choose songs that magnify God's character, holiness, glory, and the person of Jesus Christ. Avoid unnecessary speaking or drawing attention to yourself.
7. Silence: At times there may be silence and stillness. Quiet moments, prayer, reflection, and communion are important parts of our worship.
8. Public Messages: Facilitators should refrain from preaching, teaching, exhortations, testimonies, or public prophetic words. If you believe you have a word for the gathering, please write it down and place it in the designated box; we’ll pray over it. Our focus is worshiping the Lord together, not addressing the gathering.
4. BEFORE THE GATHERING
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before our 5:30 PM start time (by 5:15 PM).
This allows us to:
Meet briefly and establish how we'll worship together.
Connect instruments and check sound as needed.
Make sure everyone understands the shared approach.
There is no advance sign-up or assigned time of facilitation.
5. OUR SHARED COMMITMENT
We ask everyone participating musically to embrace this simple approach:
Worship with humility
Listen to one another
Take turns
Make room for Scripture and stillness
Our desire is not to showcase musical talent, but to worship the Lord together and help others fix their eyes on Jesus.
